Member Call This Wednesday: Article 12 and Your Office

This Wednesday, Feb 11, 2026 at 7:00 pm PST, we’re hosting a CPAA BC Yukon member call focused on Article 12 and what it means at the ground office level.

This is a practical, plain-language session. No legal jargon. No corporate spin. Just real talk about what we’re seeing across offices and how it affects staffing, hours, and daily operations.

What We’ll Cover

  • What Article 12 means in everyday office reality

  • How vacancies are currently being handled

  • How break coverage and recorded patterns affect staffing decisions

  • What “coverage gaps” and operational strain look like in real offices

  • What members should and should not be doing right now

  • A new office information form

  • Live question periods throughout the call

We will also introduce our newest board director and give members time to ask questions directly.

All CPAA members, including Postmasters, Assistants and Terms in CPAA-represented offices, are encouraged to attend. If you care about how staffing and hours decisions are made, this call is for you.
